The 45th International Film Festival Rotterdam (IFFR) will take place 25 January – 5 February with a diver program of International films.

Jim Jarmusch follow up to the excellent ‘Only Lovers Left Alive’ has been a festival darling throughout 2016. featuring a mature performance from Adam Driver, the film has landed on numerous best of lists.
The Woman Who Left
Philippine’s Lav Diaz brings this moving story is a study about the gap between rich and poor, past and present. The rich black and white shot film won the grand prize at last year’s Venice Film Festival.
Hermia & Helena
Argentina’s master of micro-cinema Matias Pinero returns with his most mature work to date. A festival darling everywhere from Toronto to New York to Locarno, ‘Hermia & Helena’ continues Pinero’s multi-film meditation on Shakespeare’s comedies with this take on A Midsummer Night’s Dream centred on an Argentine theatre director’s adventures in New York City.
The Girl with All the Gifts
Remininscent of ’28 Days Later’ this dystopian future set zombie drama features a strong lead performance from newcommer Sennia Nanun and sure footed direction from ‘Peaky Blinders’ Colm McCarthy.
Cassette: A Documentary Mixtape
This feature-length documentary mixtape that examines the history and continued influence of a revolutionary musical format features interviews with the likes of Henry Rollins, Thurston Moore,and Lou Ottens, inventor of the compact cassette.
