Coming off a Best Feature win at the Toronto Independent Film Festival, Xackery Irving’s ‘Nothing Without You’ joined a stellar lineup of world-class films for its US Festival with a recent packed-house screening at the 13th Annual Santa Fe Film Festival.

Irving and his cast and crew were further distinguished with an invitation to speak at the ‘Artists in Conversation’ panel discussion.  Producer Rick Santos, composer Victoria De le Vega, lead actress Emily Fradenburgh and actor Will Crawford joined the director to discuss the making of the film and their take on current state of independent filmmaking.

We are delighted that the film was so strongly featured at such a prestigious festival,” said Irving,a venue with a lineup of so many high-profile films featured in such festivals as Cannes, New York Film Festival, Tribeca and Sundance.

With a curated selection of 37 feature films, the Santa Fe Film Festival touts itself as a four-day celebration of the best in independent world cinema. Previous selections of the festival include Oscar winners ‘The Artist,’ ‘A Separation,’ ‘Brokeback Mountain,’ and ‘Juno.’  Embracing the full spectrum of cinematic arts, the Santa Fe Film Festival extends beyond screenings in theaters to panels, workshops, art exhibitions and opportunities for meeting and networking.

We were thrilled to showcase our movie in a festival and community with such a great appreciation for art and cinema,” says producer Rick Santos.  “We enjoyed engaging in all the festival had to offer, meeting with industry professionals, film-savvy audiences, fellow filmmakers and press.
